From the Desk of a Gun-Lovin' Gal 🌸🔫

My passion for firearms didn't ignite until the mid-1990s, when I first encountered a .30-06 rifle. With youthful bravado, I skipped the safety glasses and ended up "scoped"—a painful lesson that required stitches and spawned countless tales! It was during this period that I secured my Concealed Handgun License (CHL) in Texas. The inaugural class was a revelation, deeply enriching my understanding of firearms and sparking a lifelong fascination.

Since that pivotal first touch of the .30-06, I've been a staunch advocate for the Second Amendment. I firmly believe in the maxim, “It's better to have and not need, than to need and not have.”

When I ventured to acquire my Federal Firearms License, the ATF inquired about my motivations. My response was forthright and steeped in constitutional values: I uphold the “right of the people to keep and bear arms.”

Originally from Ohio and seasoned by Texas, life eventually whisked me away to a quaint town in Wyoming—my own slice of the true wild, wild west. As a newly single mother of three wonderful daughters, my resolve to ensure their safety was paramount. Fate led me to Steve via a dating app, a man whose profound love for firearms not only enriched our lives but also imbued my daughters with respect and enthusiasm for the sport.

Today, as one of the rare female, sole proprietor Federal Firearms Licensees in Oregon, I take pride in empowering others to realize their firearms aspirations.
